So...this show is fucking INSANE. I'm like 7 eps from the season 3 finale and I fucking love how NOTHING is ever predictable...no WAY could I have guessed where this season was heading from the first half...it seamed like a run of the mill terrorist plot and it turned into something else entirely...literally 16 episodes in the entire game changed and it all made sense...WTF. AWESOME writing...I can't believe I put off watching this for so long. I have zero guesses as to how this will end besides Jack Bauer owning some noobs. Totally didn't see Nina ketting killed like that either...she was so fucking hot too.
Edit: JUST when I was starting to like Chappelle...wtf. I thought for SURE that theyd work out a way to not kill him...holy fucking SHIT this show is unpredictable. FUCK

I'm going to have to rewatch some of these seasons, I've got them all downloaded, but forget so much. Though I do remember how season 3 ends...holy shit...you will not be disappointed.

+1. Beginning of season 3 will have you Poopy-ing in your pants (pun intended.) Actually it's probably the darkest space/sci-fi TV series ever made... Drug addition, genocide, racism, alcoholism, jihad-style religous zealotry, suicide, terrorism, etc... all the stuff that makes the world go round. Visuals on the miniseries are kinda 1990's (even though the show was made in 2000's) but they get much better as it goes on.
i don't remember season 4 very much off the top of my head and what the plot line was...but i do remember season 5 was a holy fucking shitballs season.
Something about a couple Habibs kidnapping the secretary of defense and his daughter and threatening to hold a trial and execute him live? Have NO idea how this is going to tie into the overall season.

Fucking criminally unknown actress imo. I gotta start watching Covert Affairs now that I know shes in that...plus people are saying its a cross between Alias and Chuck...show HAS to pwn no?
On topic, I don't even KNOW what to expect from 24 anymore...as much as I have come to expect anything, I still thought someone would stop that bomb from getting Wayne Palmer but sure enough he gets fucked up and the Vice pres takes over...Seasons 7 and 8 better keep up this level of awesome and not taper off...

Season 8...meh, there were definitely a few episodes in the first half that I thought were blah...but it finished strong...actually amazing. With one of the craziest torture scenes of any season near the end.
But season 7 has so many ridiculous twists and turns, you aren't going to know wtf is going on.
P.S. poops...there was a prequel to seaosn 7 that came out a few months to the regular season, called "Redemption"...watch that first if you can. I was pretty pissed when they aired it, because it was full of awesome, and then I had to wait three months for the regular season...you are lucky.
